1. IS THERE A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BOBBY PINS AND HAIRPINS?
While a hairpin and a bobby pin are essentially used for the same thing, they are quite different in appearance. A bobby pin is known for its slim design that closes together at the end; it'll also have one grooved side that helps to grip the hair. On the other hand, Hairpins are a straight-lined v shape with a slightly rounded bend that will stick into a twist to hold your hair.
2. HOW DO YOU GET BOBBY PINS TO STAY IN YOUR HAIR?
When using a bobby pin, you want to ensure that it's holding the right amount of hair to keep it in place. All you need to do is slip the bobby pin in where you want to hold hair back, gliding it back into your hair towards your scalp so it can't be seen (unless you want it to).
If your hair struggles to be held in place with a bobby pin, we recommend using dry shampoo or hairspray to give it extra grip.
